Puukkos for sale. ( SOLD! )

Four typical Finnish style puukkos for sale. 80CrV2 carbon steel rhombic cross section blades, scandi grind with a micro secondary bevel. All sheaths dark brown dyed leather, with a wooden liner inside for the blade. If you're interested to buy one, email me at pasihurttila@gmail.com.

Tuohipää 1: 98x21x5mm blade. 110mm long curly birch bark with brass bolster plates. Width 30,5mm and thickness 22,5mm at max. No glue used . Sold!

Tuohipää 2: 94x21,5x4,8mm blade. 108,5mm long birch bark handle with brass bolster plates. Width 30mm and thickness 22,8mm at max. No glue used. Sold as well!

    A good problem to have as a knife maker.

  2. Brilliant work! Your puukkos and leukus are beautifully crafted, with a lot of soul. I have become fascinated by the Finnish style blades. Really something special. You do not do commissions at this time? I would very much love to commission a puukko / leuku combination from you if you are at all interested in that. It would be something that I would treasure. They craftsmanship in the blades and handles is really something to behold

  4. Thank you for your reply! I kind of thought that would be your answer, but thought I would ask anyway. I know it is very time consuming and one must have a life of ones own eh? I completely understand. Would love to low if or when your policy changes. Until then I will keep my eyes open and visit your blog here in hopes that something comes up! :-)
